What we do
Hobart Water's core business is to provide bulk drinking water to our eight owner councils in Southern Tasmania. These eight councils are both our owners and customers.
In addition to providing bulk drinking water, Hobart Water provides additional services within the community:

Education
Hobart Water presents tailored programs to schools on water management, catchment and environmental aspects of Tasmania's water, and also water and your health. We also offer presentations to special interest or community groups and clubs. Hobart Water is also a registered training organisation for Certificate II & III in Water Operations Training.
