Hobart Water is committed to supporting local organisations and community events.

We are particularly interested in activities which reflect our values regarding catchments and drinking water.

The basic criteria for supporting local events/organisations include:

  • The event/organisation is held/based in or near Hobart and is directly experienced by, or of benefit to, some or many of the ratepayers of our eight owner Councils,
  • The sponsorship arrangement enables Hobart Water to raise awareness of its role and the part members of the public can play in keeping catchment areas clean and the importance of water as a nutritional necessity, and
  • The purpose of Hobart Water’s presence directly reflects one or more goals of its Strategic Corporate Plan.
