Draft Risdon Brook Drinking Water Catchment Management Plan
The Risdon Brook catchment covers an area of approximately 12 square kilometres. Located within this area is Risdon Brook Dam, used for storage of around 3,600 megalitres of treated drinking water.
In order to protect this valuable water, Hobart Water has recently revised a Draft Drinking Water Catchment Management Plan. The Draft Plan identifies and ranks potential risks to water quality, and assigns management actions to minimise each risk. The Draft Plan is available for public comment from Monday 7 July until Friday 1 August.
Interested members of the public are invited to view the Draft Plan and give feedback.
