UTAS Foundation
The University of Tasmania Foundation Inc was established in 1994 as the major fund raising arm of the University. It was designed to gather, over time, hundreds of friends to give their time and means to support the University.
The Foundation’s key objective is to generate support for the University and its activities. This includes:
- scholarships and bursaries,
- research and research facilities, and
- adding to the cultural and intellectual capital of the University for the benefit of all Tasmanians.
Hobart Water is a corporate patron of the foundation as we realise the important role of the Foundation and the University of Tasmania.
