Mt Wellington
The Wellington Park Drinking Water Catchments are located on the slopes of Mount Wellington. Hobart has relied on drinking water from the Mount Wellington catchments since its establishment in 1804. The Mount Wellington catchments continue to be a key component in Hobart Water’s bulk water supply system and provide around 20 per cent of the city’s needs.
